I am so excited to share my Fabulous Friday Find, aren't these so beautiful and unique. From Chicago jewellery designer, Veronica Riley Martens, you will find accessories that make a statement both in style and for the environment.
Veronica uses the Tague Nut Beads which are "made from the seeds of a tree similar to the palm tree. It is an eco-friendly product that helps sustain rainforests in Ecuador by providing jobs for almost 35,000 people. It allows them to harvest a product that can be sold without having to destroy the rainforest."
What I love about these pieces is how no two is the same, each bead has its own texture, and colour. And the colours the beads come in are breath taking.
The fact you can wear these with a t-shirt and jeans or an evening gown is just an added bonus.
Here are just a few examples of the accessories available. I encourage you to check out Veronica's Etsy shop to find a piece perfect for you.
I know, I know, I have been absent but I am sure you will forgive me knowing I have been shopping. One being a major shoppaganza trip to the US with the girls, which I will tell you about later but I also had a chance to visit Anthroplogie at Shops at Don Mills.
It took sometime to get a Canadian store and even longer for me to visit it but I am so glad I did. I loved it, I could move into the store today. One problem though, the only thing that fits me is the duvets. Tiny, tiny clothes - but that didn't stop me from finding cute things I just had to have. There is so much to look at, every corner has a treasure to find - it is kinda like going yardsaling but everything is new and more expensive. Oh and there isn't any old man behind you bartering over a 25cent item.
I totally recommend a visit even though they don't have plus size clothes. It truely is an experience and I am quite sure you will find something you need whether it is a doorknob, necklace, tablecloth, candle or even a duvet.

P.S. My SIL (sister-in-law) purchased two fantastic dresses at Penningtons this weekend that I don’t see online so I encourage you to visit the store too. Remember the best time to shop for the seasons clothing is at the very beginning of the season!
After a quick peak at Penningtons website here are two pieces that I really liked and will be taking a closer look at:
